Abstract:
107 uncaptioned black and white snapshots in a decorative black lacquer album. Includes images of fellow American and Korean
soldiers, military base, Jeeps and other military vehicles; kennels, dogs and puppies; Norterounding area (exact location
unclear); straw thatched huts; local men, women, and especially children. Also includes a handwritten letter from a Korean
soldier sent presumably to the parents of the album's compiler, dated 1964. The letter is slipped behind a photo of the soldier,
Kim S. Kil.
