U.S. Negro-White Opinion and International Relations 1946
United Nations 1943-1965
- This sub-series is made up of working papers that were generated and used by Bunche and his colleagues at the Trusteeship Council. It contains United Nations documentation of Trusteeship Council sessions, including special sessions with other councils; communication with other United Nations Divisions and the International Court of Justice; materials related to Bunche's visiting missions; studies and reports on non-self-governing territories; and official records generated by the General Assembly pertaining to or of special interest to the Trusteeship Council. Boxes 91-93 contain staff files and personnel records of persons employed and promoted by the Trusteeship Council during Bunche's tenure. Some of the official documents contain marginalia by Bunche. Council Sessions are sorted by number of session (e.g. First Session, Second Session); supporting materials are in chronological order by date received; and personnel records are sorted alphabetically by last name of employee.
