Organizational records of Santa Barbara California's Lobero Theatre, originally constructed in 1873 and reorganized and rebuilt in 1924 by a group of community members. The county owned theater is run by the Lobero Theatre Foundation and has hosted over 4,000 productions since 1924, including dance, theater, music, film and community events. Records include administrative and financial records, building files for the landmark building designed by Goerge Washington Smith, production files, photographs, clippings and scrapbooks. The production files are comprehensive and include most of the major cultural icons of the 20th century.
