Scope and Content

The following account books were purchased October 7, 1939 at a Second-Hand Store on the main street of Santa Clara. The dealer claimed that he had obtained them all from the same place, but examination shows them to have been used by diverse organizations or companies, and although they may represent the activities of one family, proof has not been established.
