Scope and Content

This small group of papers, purchased from the Alta California Bookstore March 3, 1970, relates mainly to the career of Mr. Daniells, at one time owner of the Alameda Argus, and later an editor for the Oakland Tribune. Included are correspondence, some Papers relating to the Argus, manuscripts of his writings, and clippings. There are also a few papers of his daughter, Lulu (Daniells) Taylor.
