Originals, transcripts, and contemporary copies of documents relating to the government of various islands of the British West Indies: Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Christopher, Nevis, Jamaica, Trinidad, Grenada, and others. Included are proclamations, many pertaining to slaves and free Negroes. The documents have been grouped according to islands, and chronologically within each group.
