Abstract: Charles Fletcher Lummis (1859-1928) was the city editor of the
Los Angeles Times, a librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library (1905-11) and editor of the
Land of Sunshine magazine. He also co-founded the Southwest Museum (1907) and was the founder of the Sequoia League and the Landmarks Club.
The collection consists of correspondence, 4 journals, manuscripts, articles, and related printed materials of Charles Lummis.
