Acquisition Information
The papers of Hans Otto Storm, California writer and radio engineer, came to the Bancroft Library as gifts, from three sources:
from David Greenwood, his literary executor (in July 1955, with additions in December 1965); from his sister Mrs. Margaret
Schubert (in August 1955); and from Mrs. T. Delrup (in December 1964), whose gift of Storm manuscripts came from the library
of her father, Dr. Frank Weymouth.
Scope and Content
The Hans Otto Storm collection consists of letters written to him and by him; manuscripts of his novels, short stories and
essays; copies of periodicals in which his writings appeared; a diary, 1928-29; a notebook, ca. 1935-37; publishing contracts;
reviews of his books clipped from newspapers and magazines; some technical papers (letters, cables, drawings, reports, etc.)
relating to his career as a radio engineer; and a few papers of his wife, Grace Cleone (Camp) Storm.
