This collection consists largely of working papers for applications to and hearings before the California Railroad Commission
(forerunner of the Public Utilities Commission) or the Interstate Commerce Commission from the years 1912-1915, 1922-1923,
1927-1930, 1932-1933, and 1936. Also included are reports, histories, statistics, briefs, maps, diagrams, etc. giving background
material on a number of the smaller California railroads (lumber, street, interurban and/or electric).
