Letters received by the collector Clarence McGehee and letters received by Ruth St. Denis. Many letters to St. Denis appear to be fan mail, while correspondence to McGehee is personal. Most letters to McGehee mention Ruth St. Denis. The series is arranged into two groups by the recipients, and with each group listed alphabetically by senders' surnames.
