Abstract: Arnold Entzmann lived in San Francisco at the time of the 1906 earthquake. The collection consists of over 1000 photographs
taken of San Francisco by Arnold Entzmann documenting the earthquake and resultant fire. The collection contains copy negatives,
photograph albums and copies of calendars that he made using the pictures.

Biography
Entzmann lived in San Francisco at the time of the 1906 earthquake and fire, and he took over a thousand pictures of the city
after the destruction.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of over 1000 photographs taken of San Francisco by Arnold Entzmann after the 1906 earthquake and fire.
The collection contains copy negatives, photograph albums, and copies of calendars that he made using the pictures. Also includes
biographical notes on Arnold Entzmann and the Muhr and Entzmann families, correspondence, a map of San Francisco, a land title,
a 1980 newspaper clipping, ephemera, and three documents concerning Entzmann's service in the Imperial Austrian Artillery.
