Scope and Contents note

Correspondence, drafts, research notes, outlines, resumes, and bibliographies related to Frederick Quinn's project to write a history of Beti society in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The history is an unpublished dissertation, entitled "Changes in Beti Society, 1887-1960" (University of California, Los Angeles, 1970). See box 17 for a bound copy of the dissertation.
