Background
Dr. Bailey received her undergraduate training at Drake University, Des Moines, IA, and
an M.A. (1951) and the Ed.D. (1953) from Stanford University. She came to UCSF in 1953,
and became Associate Dean of the School of Nursing in 1977. Dr. Bailey retired in 1986.
