Photographs by others Subseries 10.d

Scope and Contents note

The photographs in this subseries were sent to Allen Ginsberg by friends, colleagues, and fans. While many include images of Ginsberg during visits to the individuals who took the photographs, many represent images of the families, children, activites, etc. of the individual photographers themselves, and as such many of them reflect the life of the individual photographer as much as they document Allen Ginsberg's activities.

Series 11. Media

Scope and Contents note

This series contains audiocassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, videotapes, videocassettes, motion films, compact discs, and sound discs. The majority of the audiocassettes were recorded at readings given by Ginsberg from the 1950's through the 1960's. This series also contains the master reels of commercial recordings that were produced and released by various publishers.
Much of the media in Ginsberg's collection has been transferred and is available for streaming from Searchworks: https://searchworks.stanford.edu/?f%5Bcollection%5D%5B%5D=4084385
