Background
The Women's Dormitory Association was an organization of women students living in university approved residence halls, co-ops or boarding houses (but not sororities). Its purpose was to further co-operation and unity among the women on campus, encourage high standards of scholarship, conduct and participation in living group and campus activities, and link the residents with the student government. The Executive Committee was made up of officers and house presidents. The WDA president was on the Associated Women Students board.
