Scope and Content
The records of the San Francisco Edmund G. Brown for Governor Campaign Committee were transferred to The Bancroft Library
on August 22, 1966, from the Institute of Governmental Studies. The collection comprises two boxes which contain outgoing
and incoming letters and a small subject file for the period 1957-1958. Included are correspondence of Edmund G. Brown, committee
chairman A. Brooks Berlin and various subcommittees, including the advisory, endorsements, executive, lawyers and professional
committees. All of the portraits have been removed and indexed separately in the portrait collection.
