Description
Papers contain correspondence reviews, notes, and maps chiefly relating to Hodgen's work and publications in sociology, with
a few letters pertaining to the loyalty oath controversy at the University of California. However, the bulk of the collection
consists of her extensive card files of research notes, along with manuscripts of some of her works, including one on Edward
Gibbon. Also among Hodgen's papers are her vita and bibliography, reviews of her works, and a few maps and charts used as
illustrations in her books.
