Abstract: Ruth W. Kingman was the Executive Secretary of the Pacific Coast Committee on American Principles and Fair Play. The collection
consists of correspondence and other papers related to the activities of that organization and Ruth W. Kingman's involvement
in it. Includes materials related to the Tanforan Assembly Center, the Central Utah WRA (War Relocation Authority) Center
in Topaz, Utah, correspondence with Japanese evacuees and incidental papers on the naturalization of Japanese.

Collection consists of correspondence and other papers related to the activities of the Pacific Coast Committee on American
Principles and Fair Play and Ruth W. Kingman's involvement in the organization. Includes materials related to the Tanforan
Assembly Center and the Central Utah War Relocation Authority (WRA) Center in Topaz, Utah. Includes Kingman's correspondence
with Japanese evacuees, including Chiura Obata on the Tanforan Center Art School, and American soldiers. Also includes incidental
