Preferred Citation

[Identification of item], Oscar Weil papers, ARCHIVES WEIL 1, The Music Library, University of California, Berkeley.

Remarks:

Since the ownership names of Margaret and Leo Weil appear on so many of the title pages, it seems as if they gave this music to Professor Elkus, student and life-long friend of Oscar Weil. The 22 musical compositions of Imile Antoine Bruguihre, Jr. were found interleaved among this music. Some unidentified music of Bruguihre may still exist in item 58, a portfolio of sketches and drafts.
