Scope and Contents note
Bound volume copied in 1820 from the original held by the Connecticut Historical Society of Wolcott's journal of the 1745
military expedition against Louisburg, Cape Breton Island, Canada, as well as other writings. The volume also contains two
original letters; one from Wolcott to his son Oliver June 2, 1759 and one letter to Governor [Oliver] Wolcott from Thomas
Robbins April 7th, 1820 about the reproduction.

Scope and Contents
John Doggett was a cabinetmaker, carver, and gilder in Roxbury and Boston, Massachusetts. His son Samuel wrote news of the
war from the Island of Sacrificios near Vera Cruz.

Harriet, Juda and Bob. Another line lists 2341 acres of pine land in Tattnall County, which likely places the appraisal in
Georgia.
