Scope and Content
José Carrillo, a son of Carlos Antonio Carrillo, lived in the Santa Barbara district, on the
Las Pozas Ranch. These few manuscripts were presented by his widow, Dolores Domínguez de
Carrillo, to Hubert Howe Bancroft in 1878.
