Camp Alert, Camp Drum, Camp Lรกtham, Owens Valley, Camp Leonard, Fort Tejon, Camp Babbitt, Camp Union, Benicia (Calif.)
"Company G, after its organization at Camp Alert, was sent to Camp Drum..." The company was stationed at several locations before it was mustered out in 1864 in San Francisco. The company was again filled up and continued service until it eventually mustered out at Camp Union, Sacramento, Feb. 1, 1866. Records of California Men in the War of the Rebellion, compiled by Richard H. Orton, Sacramento, 1890, pp. 169-170.
Correspondence dated June 10, 1892 removes charges of desertion occurring in 1865.
