Scope and Content
Hugh F. O'Neil was an editor for the Historical Records Survey of the United States Work Projects Administration for Utah,
1936-1942. At the conclusion of his work he presented to The Bancroft Library his collection of original documents and copies
of reports made under the auspices of the Survey as well as the Federal Writers' Projects. The collection was received over
a period of seventeen years, 1942-1959, and has been arranged in seven boxes, as indicated below. The entire collection has
been microfilmed, except for items noted.
Note on condition: The original documents are in a fairly good state of preservation. The reports are typescript carbon copies.
Partially duplicated on film from the Library of Congress (FILM P-F 319.)
