Abstract: Views of the "principle points of interest on the entire Southern Pacific system." Includes New Orleans; Louisiana Bayous
and cane fields; the Alamo; Casa Grande and other Arizona scenes; the Salton Sea (including "plowing salt") and Indio, Calif.
vicinity; Riverside, Calif.; Santa Barbara Mission; Yosemite and the Mariposa Grove of sequoia; numerous San Francisco views;
the Hotel del Monte and Monterey vicinity; and numerous Sierra Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and Mt. Shasta area views. One view of
hydraulic mining is present.

River R.R., New York City, New York. These views embrace, in a general way, the principal points of interest on the entire
Southern Pacific System. They are numbered in consecutive order, commencing with No. 1, on the lower left-hand corner of each
picture.

by the photographer, and numbers have been retained in spite of gaps in sequence.
