Description
Collection includes flyers, programs, and tickets from events, 2007-2008, and three VHS videorecordings from their Mela shows, 1996-2000.
Background
Sanskriti is a Stanford student group founded in 1989 that celebrates and explores South Asian culture and history. In addition to films, talks, and the annual South Asian Awareness Month held during Winter Quarter, Sanskriti sponsors three shows - Festival of Lights in the Autumn, Rhythms in the Winter and Mela in the Spring.
