Abstract: George Brandt(1916-1963)was born in Brooklyn, New York. He became a producer and writer of radio, television and film scripts
for NBC, Paramount and Douglas Aircraft. The collection consists of plays, screenplays, television and radio plays, scrapbooks,
magazines, and photographs documenting Brandt's writing career.

Biography
Brandt was born on October 1, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York; became a producer and writer of radio, television and film scripts,
including work for NBC and Paramount; also worked for Douglas Aircraft, where he made instructional and documentary films;
he died in New York City on November 12, 1963.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of plays, screenplays, television and radio plays, scrapbooks, magazines, and photographs documenting
Brandt's writing career and his position with Douglas Aircraft. Includes work for NBC and Paramount Pictures, documentary
and instructional scripts and films for Douglas Aircraft, scrapbooks of clippings about Los Angeles and Douglas Aircraft,
and photographs of various publicity set ups for magazines and pamphlets.
