Biographical/Historical Sketch
Philip B. Gallagher earned his MS in electrical engineering at Stanford University in 1951 and his Ph.D. in 1956. He was a
senior research associate with the Stanford Electronics Laboratory and a co-director of a solar research program at the time
of his death in 1961.
