Organizational History
Established in 1864, Happy Valley School is located approximately 3.5 miles from downtown Santa Cruz, nestled in the foothills
of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It is a one school district with a population of 130+ kindergarten thru sixth grade students.
Scope and Content of Collection
This collection contains materials relating to the history of Happy Valley School and it's surrounding community. Included
are minutes of the Get-Together Club of Happy Valley (1912-1918), yearbooks for Happy Valley School (1982-1994) and photocopies
of documents and school pictures (1874-1994).
