Scope and Content of Collection
"The Department of Art at UC Santa Barbara offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in art and art related fields with
an emphasis in integral interdisciplinarity. The Department of Art is part of the College of Letters and Science, which is
the largest center for teaching, learning, and research on the UCSB campus and the third largest in the University of California
system, offering students an array of nearly 80 majors and interdisciplinary programs and over 30 academic minors. [...] The
Department of Art is closely associated with two other departments and programs, the Media Arts and Technology Graduate Program
and the College of Creative Studies."
