Description
This handmade booklet, “Respectfully dedicated to Dr. Frank Mace MacFarland,” pertains to the summer session at Stanford Marine Biological Laboratory [Hopkins Marine Station], 1913, and includes photographs, cartoons, poetry, and humorous commentary.
Background
J. Harold Williams earned his A.B. in education at Stanford University in 1913, his M.A. in 1914 and his Ph.D. in 1916. He was a professor of education at UCLA.
