Scope and Content of Collection
Photograph album, 142 black/ white snapshots with handwritten captions, along with 10 loose b/w photos and other ephemera
belonging to an American GI who apparently was in Japan after WWII, around 1946. Mostly Tokyo, also places like Kamakura.
Includes images of buildings (some with war damage), temples, gardens, street scenes, and fellow soldiers.
