Biographical/Historical Sketch
Dr. William H. Northway was associate professor of radiology and director of the division of diagnostic radiology at the Stanford
School of Medicine at the time of this report.
This report, supported in part by the University Fellows Program and the Ford Foundation, "attempts to provide a background
