Films, 1953-1962; President/Director Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc., Chicago and all subsidiaries, 1962-1967; director, Encyclopaedia
Britannica Educational Corporation, 1977-ca. 1997. Chancellor, University of Denver, 1967-1977. Member, U.S. Commission on
Civil Rights, 1968-1974; director, National Public Radio, 1977-ca. 1997. Publications include: articles on education and communications.
