Extent: 1 photograph.
Physical Description: Cased half plate daguerreotype inside brass mat. Gold in pan has been hand colored with gold paint. Case is wood covered with tooled leather., 4.25 x 5.5 in. (4.75 x 6 in. case)

Scope and Content Note

Capt. Shaw and his wife are separated by a couple of feet and are casually posed in a yard in front of a house. The image is slightly blurred and a strand of hair is blocking the exposure in the lower left corner.
