Biographical/Historical note

Dolly Miller Crane earned her A.B. in English at Stanford in 1942; George Crane earned two degrees in math at Stanford, A.B. in 1942 and M.S. in 1949.

Scope and Contents note

Collection includes Yvor Winter’s letter of introduction for Lt. and Mrs. George Crane, 1946; letters received from Prof. Margery Bailey and Edgar W. Smith (of The Baker Street Journal), 1944-46; two handmade booklets by Dolly Miller Crane, “Boulder Scenes” with ink drawings and "Petites Critiques pour Esthetiques", 1946; and letters, poems, and a short story by Don Wilkins, 1992-2000.
