Scope and Contents
The Hank Schwager Collection consists of radio broadcasts of "The Art of Jazz" program, hosted by critic Martin Williams in
the early 1960's. The shows were recorded off-air from KGMG in Portland, Oregon by Hank Schwager on twenty-seven 7" open reel
tapes. The Schwager Collection also holds an interview with pianist/composer Andre Previn by Ted Hallock, recorded by Hank
Schwager in 1959.
