Scope and Content

Collection contains signed typescripts of Ray Bradbury's short stories "The Everlasting Clock," "The Man Upstairs," "Powerhouse," and "Skeleton." Also included in the collection are his introduction to Jules Verne's Mysterious Island and six letters from Bradbury to Dorothy Faulkner, dated 1950-1962.

Biographical Note

Ray Bradbury (b. 1920), a prolific writer of science fiction and fantasy, moved to Los Angeles as a child and has lived there ever since. He is best known for his books The Martian Chronicles and Farenheit 451, but he has also adapted his stories for television and film and has written about 600 short stories.
