SAME, along with Southern Voice newspaper, co-produced the Southeastern Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, which screened over 50 films in 1994, a major event for the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian community. SAME also organized numerous visual arts exhibitions and an annual arts and crafts festival.
