    Abstract: Elick Moll (1907- ) was a screenwriter for Samuel Goldwyn, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Twentieth Century-Fox, a television writer, and frequent contributor of short stories to various magazines. The collection consists of manuscripts and clippings relating to Elick Moll and his books.

    Biography

    Moll was born on March 20, 1907 in New York City; attended the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago; became a screenwriter for Samuel Goldwyn, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Twentieth Century-Fox, as well as a television writer; contributed short stories to various magazines; published works include Night without sleep (1950), Seidman and Son (1958), Memoir of spring (1961), Mr. Seidman and the geisha (1962), Image of Tallie (1964), and The perilous spring of Morris Seidman (1972).

    Scope and Content

    Collection consists of manuscripts and two clippings relating to Elick Moll and his books. Includes Memoir of spring, A south sea story, Image of Tallie, and the television plays The fabulous Irishman, Mr. Sizeman and the dangerous age, and Seidman and Son.
