Walter W.J. Gores (1894- ) was a graphic artist and author of Manual of the visual arts (1940). The collection consists of ephemera and artwork relating to Gores' career as a graphic artist.

Walter W.J. Gores was born on January 23, 1894 in Los Angeles, California; he studied at Stanford University, the Ecole du Louvre, and at the University of Paris; worked at the American University in Europe, Paris; wrote Manual of the visual arts (1940).
