Description
Thomas Kimmwood Peters (1879-1973) was a pioneer newsreel cameraman who filmed the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire,
the construction of the Panama Canal, and other events. He was also a motion picture producer, cameraman, and inventor. The
collection consists of correspondence, brochures and miscellaneous materials relating to Peters' activities in building his
own and Oglethorpe University's historical photographic collections.
