It also comprises papers regarding Watts' Iowa family background, including records of lineage, illness, and inheritance. There are transcripts of two interviews with Watts. Selected films by Watts and collected recordings, some of which were used in his films. Of these materials, only four films (two 16 mm., two super 8 mm.), four audio cassettes, and five sound tape reels are originals; remaining films and sound recordings have been reformatted by the Estate onto digital media (mini-dvs, DVDs, CDs, and MPEG-2) from original media still held by the Estate. Several items contain multiple works. Items have been numbered by the repository.
Audiovisual material is unavailable until reformatted. Selected items have been digitized and are available on-site only.
