This subseries comprises incorporation papers, bylaws, election ballots, manuscripts and correspondence of the Veterans CARE Board of Directors, including the organization's founder, Jim Highland. In 1985, Bill Lake succeeded Highland as Commanding Officer. Edward Westrick was eventually elected the organization's Commander for several years.
