Scope and Content of Collection

The County Employee Photograph and Film Collection consist of photographs of county employees and films of a strike at the Berger Drive county building from 1975.
The photographs were donated by C. J. Neil MacPherson, Facilities Manager and Parks and Recreation Director, and Clara Viso, a Personnel Department employee. The photographs include county events, parties and portraits. Important figures included in the photographs are: Ed Levin, Executive Officer Robert Sorensen, City Manager Dutch Hamann, Supervisor Sam Della Maggiore, Controller Ed Glaeser, and Executive Officer Paul Yarborough.
There are four films of a strike at the Berger Drive county building from 1975. The black and white films include footage of picketing and graffiti and damage to buildings.
