Description
Edward R. Hagemann (b.1921) taught in the English department at UCLA. His published works include A comprehensive index to Black Mask, 1920-1951: with brief annotations, preface, and editorial apparatus (c1982) and German and Austrian expressionism in the United States, 1900-1939: chronology and bibliography (1985). The collection consists of 15 boxes of files relating to detective fiction, 841 titles of books and journals principally relating to detective fiction, and a bibliography and chronology of crime fiction and crime fact.
