Description
Bound volume of Stanford University Science Association (1894-1936) contains constitution of the Association, lists of members, minutes of meetings of the Association, and financial reports. The minutes often include abstracts of the presentations given; professors represented in the abstracts include James Perrin Smith (p. 42), Fernando Sanford (pp. 43 and 114), William Russell Dudley (pp. 47, 62, and 97), Frank Angell (pp. 54-55), Charles H. Gilbert (pp. 59-60), Carl R. Noller (pp. 264-65), C. B. van Niel (p. 271), and Ira L. Wiggins (p. 272). There is also an appreciation by Frank Mace McFarland of the career of Dr. Nettie M. Stevens (pp. 188-189).
