Scope and Contents

This series consists mainly of materials created by Dr. Cain which he presented at conferences for professional training and higher education. Subjects include trends, issues, and problems in special education, underdeveloped resources, impact of changes in education and approaches to the time-shortened degree. This also includes conference proceedings written by Cain from a symposium on attitudes toward blindness. All materials are arranged separately in chronological order.

Scope and Contents

This series consists of college speeches on providing educational experiences for exceptional children, includes ways to open doors for exceptional children, and statements and addresses including observations of developing a new college. This series includes speeches from conferences and meetings at the Council for Exceptional Children, Chamber of Commerce, and faculty conferences. Also includes commencement addresses and meeting addresses. This series also includes writings of standards, preparations, and strategies for the teaching professional. A Certificate which is The Great Seal of California certificate presented to Dr. Cain for his contributions to the state of California is also included. Additionally, an interview with Cain while he was Vice President at San Francisco State University is also included.
