Description
Album most likely kept by a geology student at Stanford in the mid 1920s. Stanford students identified in the album include Bob Stice, Ed Smith, Bruce Stephens, Ken Graham, and Pete Beaver; other persons include Leland McCullough, Joe Stender, Hank Cameron, and Bill Wright. Most of the photographs are not of Stanford; subjects include a camping trip into Kings Canyon, mining scenes, the bark Gratia and its crew, 1923, the Bureau of Mines Camp at Taft, 1924, and oil rigs at Elk Hills, 1924.
