Description
Film about the 24th Triennial Conference of the International Federation of University Women held at Stanford University in
August 1992; the theme was women's role in changing society. IFUW speakers included Sharon Schuster, Mary Purcell, and Chitra
Gosh; plenary speakers included Janet Nelson (UNICEF) and Margaret Shields (INSTRAW). The film includes short interviews with
delegates on their local organizations' projects, group visits to Glide Memorial Church and the San Francisco Aids Foundation,
and a short history of the IFUW.
