    Abstract: The Office of the Registrar is responsible for student enrollment at the university, which includes establishing residency, enrollment status, course registration, graduation, transcripts and grade reporting. The collection contains credential ledger books dating to the Santa Barbara State Normal School, UCSB's predecessor institution, enrollment statistics, memos, flyers, sample diplomas, commencement and lists of degrees awarded, and other related materials.
